On the January 29, 2017 count you collectively tallied 117 eagles through 40 volunteer hours invested (Table 1). So there was a nice uptick of eagles this count compared to the other counts so far this year. I am also attaching Table 2 which presents the roost counts as they are sent to the local newspapers. This tallies up the count in a little different way, and I assume some of you don’t get our local newspapers, so I thought this would be of interest too. I’ll let Jeb opine in the next roost count report on any thoughts he would like to share in regard to this uptick in eagle numbers during this count. Thank you all very much for your efforts.
